Cello Recital - Two Swans

2015 Jun 7

I performed two pieces in my cello teacher's studio recital. Both are called the Swan: the first by Camile Saint-Saëns, and the second by Mats Lidström. The one by Saint-Saëns is the famous Swan piece from his Carnival of the Animals.

The second is an homage to it, but much more strange. Mats is Swedish cellist whose son was learning the Saint-Saëns Swan. So, Mats, who is also a composer made another Swan in his own style.
